Why Shea Butter?
For centuries, African
Shea Butter has been used to protect and repair skin
and hair from harsh weather, aging and dermatological
diseases. Recognized worldwide as the most effective
natural skin moisturizer and conditioner, it contains
Kariten, Allantoin and Vitamins A, D & F. Shea butter
provides quick and complete absorption to re-hydrate
and protect skin without clogging pores and leaves no
greasy residue.
Why salts
from the
Dead Sea?
Rich in life-enhancing minerals, the virtues of the
waters of the Dead Sea have been extolled throughout
the ages. Dead Sea salts contain less sodium chloride
than other bath salts, which can dry your skin. They
also contain magnesium, potassium and calcium chlorides
and a high concentration of bromides, the minerals believed
to provide the therapeutic properties of the Dead Sea.
Can a sunscreen be added
to the balms?
We try to stay away from adding chemicals to any of
our products. Essentially products were created to eliminate
allergens from our skin care line. However, pure Shea
Butter does have some UV protection naturally and is
used in other commercial sunscreens.
